A Wine Tour de France
With Richard Luftig

The Loire Valley

Monday, April 21, 2008 at 7pm

Discover your inner oenophile through this entertaining and educational series. Each month, the series will present a new French wine or brandy, focusing on their distinctive and essential characteristics.

The Loire Valley is one of the most diverse, exciting wine regions in France and offers many different styles of dry, off-dry and sweet wines. This session of A Wine Tour de France will examine the well known regions of Muscadet, Sancerre, Vouvray and Chinon, as well as the lesser known regions, such as Coteaux de Loir that offer great value and quality wines!

Richard Luftig, Wine Director of New York’s Cookshop in Chelsea will lead the classes.
