A Wine Tour de France
With Richard Luftig

Provence

Monday, May 19, 2008 at 7pm

Discover your inner oenophile through this entertaining and educational series. Each month, the series will present a new French wine or brandy, focusing on their distinctive and essential characteristics.

Provence is known for rosé and justifiably so, as rosé accounts for 80% of Provence’s wine production and 50% of France’s rosé production. In addition, Provence produces world-class white and red wines, including those from the Mourvedre-based Bandol. This installment of FIAF’s popular wine tasting series is certain to refresh your palate and provide you with magnificent wines for the summer months.

Richard Luftig, Wine Director of New York’s Cookshop in Chelsea will lead the class.
