In this slow-burning romance, celebrated film composer Antoine arrives in Mumbai to record the music for a Bollywood take on Romeo and Juliet. Although he is expecting his younger girlfriend to join him soon, the womanizing charmer quickly sets his sights on Anna, the even younger wife of the French Ambassador. Antoine soon joins Anna on a “fertility pilgrimage” to the holy city of Varanasi.
With music elegantly scored by longtime collaborator Francis Lai, Un + Une is one of director Claude Lelouch’s best films about love.
