CinéSalon • April & May 2017 Liberté, Égalité, Fantasy: French Politics on Film Tuesdays at 4 & 7:30pm
This April and May at CinéSalon, get a crash course in French politics just in time for France’s presidential elections. From paranoid thrillers to high-stakes dramas and witty satires, these films will immerse you in the world of political power struggles. There, you will meet the desperate men, unlikely heroes, and wide-eyed novices who populate the French government. In moments of crisis, acts of resistance, and life-or-death situations, see who will put career before party, justice before ambition, or France above all.
In the spirit of the French ciné-clubs and literary salons, CinéSalon pairs an engaging French film with a social post-screening wine & beer reception. Every 7:30pm screening will be introduced by a high-profile personality in the arts.
