At 24, Vincent is the charismatic singer of a hardcore band and has already tattooed over half his body. With a chiseled face and piercing eyes, he slides by on his good looks and his moody onstage persona. When his father marries a younger woman following the death of his mother, old tensions are inflamed. Vincent can no longer contain his anger or his desire as he throws himself into an affair with his compassionate new stepmother. Punctuated with the frenetic energy of live concerts shot in Parisian nightclubs, this debut from writer-director Morgan Simon considers the emotional cost of chronic familial conflict.
