Winter Fun in French Day Camps (ages 3–7)

Give your child’s winter break a French twist!

In this fun-filled week, kids will be immersed in French as they create, sing, dance, explore, and experience the best of French culture. Open to all levels, from budding French speakers to kids who are brand new to the language.

Toddlers have fun and are immersed in French daily through exciting activities such as storytime, art, cooking, games, songs, yoga, theater, and dance. FIAF’s innovative methods make this class appropriate for both toddlers new to the language and those who have already been exposed to French. Maximum 7 students per class.

Tue, Feb 20 — Life in the Arctic: Igloos, Dog sledding, and ice fishing
La vie dans l’Arctique: l’igloo, chiens de traineaux, et pêche à la glace

Wed, Feb 21 — Arctic Animals: Bears, whales, and penguins
Animaux de l’Arctique: Ours, baleines et pingouins

Thu, Feb 22 — Snow Days and Games: Skiing, sledding, and ice skating
Jeux dans la neige: Ski, luge et patins

Fri, Feb 23 — Bundle Up and Play: Socks, mittens, and hats
S’emmitoufler pour le froid: Chaussettes, moufles et bonnets

Kids learn, explore, play, and grow in a program designed to immerse them in French while having fun and exploring their creative side. Each day includes two language classes plus a variety of activities inspired by the daily theme that introduces them to French culture. The language comes to life through arts-and-crafts, music, games, cooking, science, dance, and more. The week will include a special outing to the Central Park Zoo.

Kids will put together a show that they will perform on Friday for family and friends!

• 9-9:30am: Assembly
• 9:30-10:30am: French Class
• 10:30-10:45am: Break
• 10:45-11:45am: Activity (art, cooking, science, etc.)
• 11:45am-12:45pm: Activity (music, games, theater, etc.)
• 12:45-1:45pm: Lunch/rest
• 1:45-2:45pm: French Class
• 2:45-3:45pm: Activity or Outing
• 4pm: Dismissal
