Discussing and debating current events in the Francophone world!

In this class, teens will improve their research and argumentative skills, as well as their oral proficiency in French. Each week, students will discover a different Francophone country and its most pressing concerns. Through written articles, podcasts, and other authentic documents, students will research each topic, while also learning about how to determine if a source is trustworthy or not. Students will present what they have discovered and debate the issues amongst the group.

This class will help teens get a better understanding of current issues facing the Francophone world all while improving their public speaking and critical thinking skills.
