Netflix and French

If you’re a fan of TV shows and cinema in French, this class is made for you. Each week you’ll be assigned to watch a French movie or an episode of a French TV show that can be found on the streaming platform Netflix. During the class, we’ll analyze the scenes, debate its merits, provide cultural context, and explain vocabulary to deepen your knowledge of French language and culture.

This class is made for you if you love French cinema and television, and you want to improve your language skills through discovering its rich catalogue of films and shows.

Note About Class Formats: General French A1.1 to C1.6, Intro to French, Refresher courses are held entirely in person at FIAF or entirely online on Zoom. All other courses for adults are HyFlex with online and in-person students attending the same class via 360° cameras in the classroom.
