Once a week, 90-minute class at FIAF + 90 minutes of online independent activities

Flexi-French is specially designed to give you greater flexibility in when, where, and how you learn French. This blended learning program combines the advantages of a face-to-face classroom environment with the convenience of online activities, providing students the best of both worlds. Once a week, you’ll participate in an immersive class at FIAF led by expert native-speaking French teachers. Outside the classroom, you’ll enhance your studies through our new interactive learning platform. Using the latest learning methods and engaging multimedia content, you’ll improve your reading, writing, and listening comprehension skills.

Units: 7, 8

In this course, you’ll build your understanding of frequently used sentences and expressions, you’ll reinforce your ability to talk about familiar topics and personal interests, and you’ll learn to better describe your background and immediate environment. Authentic resources and real world tasks will introduce you to the structure and use of French in everyday life.

With engaging multimedia activities, texts, and course books, you will learn to describe your goals, talk about how you feel, encourage someone, and express your interests, desires, and dissatisfaction. Culturally, you’ll explore French traditions, gastronomy, fashion and cultural customs. At the end of this class, you will be able to express yourself more clearly about increasingly in-depth topics.

Beginner A1 level consists of 4 sub-levels: Level A1.1, Level A1.2, Level A1.3, and Level A1.4.
Level A1.4 is the fourth sub-level of the Beginner A1 level.
Level A1.4 is further split into Part 1 and Part 2 for the leisurely track.

    FIAF will strictly follow guidelines recommended by the CDC and public health authorities regarding COVID-19. All people over the age of 2 are required to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing at all times. Health checks will be administered upon entering FIAF and a more frequent building-wide cleaning schedule has been implemented.
