In Bruno Dumont’s farcical follow-up to his celebrated murder mystery mini-series Li’l Quinquin, the eponymous character (Alane Delhaye) is all grown up and goes by the nickname Coincoin. He hangs out on the Côte D’Opale and attends meetings of the Nationalist Party with his childhood friend Fatso (Julien Bodard). His old love, Eve, has abandoned him for Corinne. When strange goo is found near the town, its inhabitants suddenly start to behave very weirdly. Our beloved heroes Captain Van Der Weyden (Bernard Pruvost) and his loyal assistant Carpentier (Philippe Jore) investigate and quickly begin to suspect an alien attack. The Extra-Human invasion has begun!

“… a radically loopy, politically confrontational, grandly geographical, infinitesimally detailed transfiguration of familiar police-investigation dramas…”
