Where is my home?

November 8–December 12, 2019
FIAF Montclair

FIAF presents Where is my home?, an exhibition of vibrant mix-media paintings by Venezuela-born New Jersey-based artist Elizabeth Perez Diner.

Comfortable working with many different mediums including watercolor, acrylics, metallics, and charcoal, Elizabeth Perez Diner draws inspiration from Mexican Muralism, the Renaissance, Cubism, and Surrealism. When describing her art, she says: “Painting is a way to connect with my past, the one that is not even in this life”. She invites people to look inside every painting and be surprised to see the unexpected.

Originally from Venezuela, Elizabeth is a self-taught artist who pursued her passion for art after studying Mass Communications at the Central University of Venezuela. After moving to the United States in 2001, she attended courses at Dundean Studios, the Visual Art Center in NJ, and most recently at the DuCret Art School.
