Eight-year-old Simon is an orphan who dreams of being adopted by a family. But Simon is not like other children, he is able to transform into other people whom he has touched. When his best friend dies in an accident, Simon takes on his identity and lives with his family.

Winner of the audience award at the 2019 Festival d’automne de Gardanne, Mon premier Festival, and Festival de Brides-les-bains, this debut feature by Léo Karmann paints a magical tale that strikes at the core of who we are and those we love.

It’s a game of mirrors, expertly conducted and well played, where the plot, which at first seems simple, takes on far more subtle dimensions, whilst offering plenty of surprises.” — Cineuropa
