Ages 4 & up

Learn the basics of French pantomime, master the art of communicating through body language, and engage your imagination with NYC’s favorite silent storytellers!

Drawing inspiration from Charlie Chaplin, Marcel Marceau, and other great silent actors, Broken Box Mime Theater (BKBX) returns to FIAF with a lively exploration of storytelling that transcends words. Each workshop, designed for kids and their adults, will take participants on a voyage to new worlds, tapping into the imagination to travel anywhere. Two performing mimes along with a speaking emcee will provide tips on how to create characters, objects, and environments communicating through the art of body language. Each workshop will close with a mini-adventure involving all participants.
