With just a smartphone and Snapchat, participants will learn how to create their own Augmented Reality which turns existing images into moving pictures using digital augmentation overlaid on it. This workshop will include a lecture on Augmented Reality before participants are sent to break out rooms for a hands-on experience. Organized in collaboration with Prof. Kevin Park from New York Tech and its Graduate Assistants.
After this workshop, you’ll understand the principles of AR, how AR works, and the best ways to use it.
To be able to participate in the hands-on part of the workshop you need to have a Snapchat account and a PC and iOS or Android phone.
