Claire (Marina Foïs) is a world-renowned piano prodigy. She travels the world, assisted and pampered by Frédéric (Jonathan Cohen), her husband-agent-coach-PA. They live in perfect harmony and don’t want children. Things are turned upside down after Frédéric witnesses unexpected childbirth during a Paris-New York flight. He now wants to do the unthinkable to get Claire pregnant!

In this popular comedy, Sophie Letourneur (Les Coquillettes) offers a provocative look, both burlesque and slightly uncomfortable, at pregnancy and gender roles.

“The director Sophie Letourneur, French cinema’s near-mumblecorean, fuses sketch comedy with documentary inquiry in this tale of an odd couple’s tangled journey to parenthood.” — Richard Brody, The New Yorker
