Created for seven male performers, Näss is a piece at the crossroads of the traditional and the modern. Moroccan Fouad Boussouf, dares to confront cultures and generations by creating intense and acrobatic choreography.

Inspired by Gnawa, taskiwine, reggada and ahidous Moroccan dance traditions, Boussouf questions his own roots by combining them with hip-hop, modern-jazz, and contemporary circus. The new identity created through the convergence of the traditional with the modern is assumed by the dancers as their movements transcend cultural borders.

    • Prompt to mix styles and practices, rhythms and influences, his creations are above all a place of sharing and transmission: that of emotions, thanks to the technical mastery and the inexhaustible expressiveness of dance. At the heart of the artistic development of the Massala company is the issue of the sensitive and carnal relationship to our roots, to our heterogeneous and mixed culture.
