In this workshop, a group of students from The Ecole will work with five artists from the fields of textiles, theatre, and photography to remake the outfits of audience volunteers in less than an hour inside Theatre SKAM’s Fashion Machine!
As the students work, a photographer will capture their progress, broadcasting the photos onto the big screen, while the audience walks around to see how the budding designers are doing. When the time is up, the chosen audience members don their remade outfits and showcase their new looks in a fashion show.
Join us and see how Fashion Machine by Theatre SKAM helps to foster the creativity of the next generation of artists and have a whole lot of fun!
Please note: If you plan to participate in the fashion show, please only wear items that you are comfortable with being taken apart and modified. Your entire outfit will be altered (cut, sewn, colored, and more!).
