After a series of disastrous first dates, Nora Wilder (Parker Posey), a thirty-something Manhattanite who is cynical about love and relationships, meets Julien (Melvil Poupaud), a seemingly carefree Frenchman. After spending a passionate couple of days together, Julien must return to France. Nora finds herself jetting off to Paris to find him as she realizes that to give the relationship a chance, she must try something different. Also starring Gena Rowlands, Justin Theroux, and Drea de Matteo.

“A welcome chance to see Posey at her flighty, edgy best. Is there an actress alive better able to convey the neuroses and self-doubts of the typical over-educated, under-challenged American woman?” – Washington Post
