With Delphine Seyrig, Danielle Ouimet, John Karlen, Andrea Rau
Newlyweds at a vacation resort, Stefan and Valérie, cross paths with the beautiful Countess Bathory (Delphine Seyrig) and her aide Ilona (Andrea Rau), who show a strange interest in them. The couple suspects the Countess’s supernatural origins when the hotel doorman claims she has not aged a bit in the 40 years since he last saw her. But Stefan is faced with his own supernatural heritage when the Countess delights in revealing the exploits of his ancestor—-who killed 800 virgins in order to bathe in their blood and maintain eternal youth.
