In this workshop, students learn about the scientific processes at work behind climate change.
Participants are given a set of cards that describe the processes, both natural and human, that affect the climate. Working in small groups, students will use these cards as a base for their diagram, or “fresk,” to map out the complex relationship between human activity and the earth’s climate. Workshop coordinators will guide students as needed. The second portion of the workshop is an opportunity to discuss the solutions that can mitigate climate change.
Committed to creating long-lasting experiences for students, FIAF will provide educators with a free study guide with detailed content about the workshop as well as pre- and post-event activities.
Please note that capacity for this workshop is limited. Please contact us for more information.
The Climate Fresk NGO has been working to bring people and organisations on board with the climate transition since the end of 2018. They do this by enabling the rapid growth of climate education and shared understanding of the challenge that climate change represents. The Climate Fresk began this mission in France and is now active in over 40 countries around the world.
