This romantic comedic drama follows Victoria Spick (Virginie Efira), a divorced criminal defense lawyer on the verge of an emotional breakdown as she balances work, her personal life, and being a single mother. At a wedding, she reunites with her old friend Vincent (Melvil Poupaud) and Sam (Vincent Lacoste), a former drug dealer she once helped out of trouble. The next day, Vincent is accused of attempted murder by his partner; the only witness to the scene is the victim’s dog. Victoria reluctantly agrees to defend him and hires Sam as a live-in helper, setting off a series of catastrophes.
