FIAF’s Young Audience Program invites school groups to a special performance of The Pyramid Company’s Under the weight of feathers, followed by a Q&A with the artists.
In Under the weight of feathers, four dancers from the collective Pyramid Company plunge into a dreamlike world where the motion of mime, hip-hop, physical theater, burlesque, and object manipulation melds and intertwines with their every movement. The sweet, funny, impertinent performance presents a succession of sketches of everyday life.

For over 20 years, Compagnie Pyramid has been a driving force behind hip-hop dance and urban culture in the Charente-Maritime region. Constantly questioning its artistic work, the company has drawn on disciplines such as mime, object theater and burlesque, enabling it to defend a unique artistic approach in the hip-hop landscape.
