This spring, FIAF highlights French actor and filmmaker, Melvil Poupaud. Join us on Tuesdays in March and April to discover the films from his rich and diverse career, selected by Poupaud himself.

Poupaud began his career as a child actor, performing in several films by Raul Ruiz. Within just ten years, Poupaud rose to fame, with career highlights including Eric Rohmer’s A Summer Tale, Xavier Dolan’s Laurence Anyways, and François Ozon’s By the Grace of God. Poupaud brings a charismatic mix of sensibility and intelligence to the screen, embodying characters with a magnetic force and never shying away from unconventional roles.
