Children (ages 1-17) can learn French, attend social and cultural events specially curated for them, and take advantage of our Library's collection of French books, ebooks, magazines, and movies for kids.


School Support with French Learning

Fall: Sep 8–Dec 18
Drop-Off In-Person

Available every weekday this fall, this flexible drop-off in-person program provides a safe space for your child to log in to their school's remote classes, offers homework help in English, and teaches them French through engaging and fun activities.

French Classes, Camps & Workshops

Children learn French through fun language lessons and creative activities tailored to each age group (ages 1-17) and level (beginner to native French speaker).

FIAF Preschool

The FIAF Preschool provides your toddler (ages 2½ to 4) a joyful entry into French language and culture, combining the best of French and American teaching methods within a rich, multicultural environment.


FIAF's TILT Kids Festival brings adventurous art for all audiences to New York each spring. The winter FIAF Animation First festival showcases the best of French animation talent. Additionally, throughout the year, FIAF presents workshops with artists and other events for our youngest audiences.

Featuring French books, music, films, and language guides for all ages, as well as activities like storytime, video games, and more.
