Become a FIAF Member and get your very own library account to enjoy access to our extensive collection of French books, magazines, DVDs, the digital library Culturethèque, as well as entry to all Library programs!

Step 1: For full access to the Library, you must first become a FIAF Member.

Step 2: Request a Library Account in person at the Haskell Library. You will be assigned a unique Library Account Number and Password.

Step 3: Use this to access your account or to renew materials.

Access your Library Account

Step 1: Go to the Online Catalog. This online catalog will allow you to:

  • Consult your loans and due dates
  • Renew your materials
  • Reserve titles
  • Rate your reads: leave comments on library titles that you have enjoyed
  • Read comments & recommendations from other Library members
  • Stay informed about upcoming Library events

Step 2: From the catalog’s home page, click catalog, click ‘my account.’

Step 3: Enter your library account number and password in the screen that appears.

Your Library account number is the number that is handwritten by the Library staff on the bottom right corner of your membership card, and cannot be changed. If you do not know your password, email us at You may also modify your password as you wish once you log in with the password we supply to you.

Free building-wide WiFi is available for FIAF Members and Students. Please stop by the library to obtain your password.

WiFi, computers with Internet access, portable CD and DVD players, headphones, and photocopier available.

Access to TV5Monde, an international television network broadcasting French programs.

iPods loaded with popular French music and podcasts for on-site listening.

A drop-box in front of the Library for returning materials when the Library is closed.
