About FIAF Montclair
FIAF’s convenient Montclair branch offers French lessons for adults and children (ages 2-18) of all skill levels.
Whether you’re planning a trip to France, looking for new experience for yourself or your child, or interested in learning or improving your French, FIAF Montclair has the perfect French class for you. All French classes are taught by highly trained native speakers of French who come from all over the Francophone world and are fully certified to teach French as a foreign language.
All classes (1-week and longer) come with a complimentary year of FIAF Membership (valued at $95), bringing you enriching cultural experiences.

FIAF Manhattan’s proven Preschool model is now coming to Montclair! The FIAF Preschool provides toddlers (ages 2½ to 5) a joyful entry into French language and culture, combining the best of French and American teaching methods within a rich, multicultural environment. COVID Safety Measures
Please visit fiaf.org/safety for complete and up-to-date information about FIAF’s safety protocols. In-person students ages 7+ can switch to attending class online by requesting the Zoom link from their teacher.

Events in Montclair
FIAF Montclair is thrilled to welcome international literary sensation Joël Dicker for the debut of his newly-translated novel, The Enigma of Room 622, on Tuesday, September 13, 7-9pm at the historic Van Vleck House and Gardens. The conversation, moderated by Kate Tuttle, will be followed by a book signing and wine reception.
